ISLAMABAD: A delegation of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) led by its senior leader Raza Rabbani called on incarcerated Opposition Leader Shehbaz Sharif at his chamber on Tuesday, which has been declared a sub-jail.
According to details, the two major opposition parties deliberated on devising a mutual strategy for ongoing political scenario.
The proceeding of National Assembly sessions and the accountability bill came under the discussion of senior politicians from both sides.
A day earlier, former prime minister Nawaz Sharif also met Shehbaz Sharif at the Ministers’ Enclav where the brothers duo discussed the current political situation of the country and matters related to their party during the meeting.

As per sources, strategy for the recent national assembly session was part of the brothers’ conversation, in addition to taking decision for approaching other opposition parties.
Previously, on Novemver 1, PPP leaders, Khursheed Shah, Naveed Qamar and JUI-F’s Abdul Ghafoor Hyderi had met Shehbaz to chalk out a favorable procedure for ongoing session of the National Assembly and matters pertaining to the multi party moot of the opposition parties.
Talking to the newsmen after meeting with the opposition leader, Khursheed Shah said that the opposition will present its stance in the lower house strongly, adding that we do not want to plunge country into anarchy.
