LAHORE: At least two people were killed and four others sustained injuries in a road crash at Lahore’s Raiwind road, ARY News reported on Saturday.
As per details, a tractor trolley, carrying iron rammed into a car at Raiwind road resulting in death of two on the spot and injuries to four others in the crash.
After getting information about the incident, the rescue teams reached the spot and moved the bodies and injured to Taluka Headquarters Hospital (THQ).
In another road crash that took place on November 13, at least two people lost their lives while 13 others were wounded as a passenger bus thrust into a gorge at Mianwali Road in Kot Qazi area of Chakwal.
According to details, the bus that was heading to Karachi from Mansehra, skid-off the bridge while taking a U-turn in Kot Qazi district.
The incident had claimed lives of two and severe wounds to 13 other passengers.
According to an estimate, around 9,000 road accidents are reported every year in Pakistan, claiming more than 4,500 lives on average annually.
