ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources Ghulam Sarwar Khan on Saturday assured to resolve the issue of low gas pressure on priority basis in Rawalpindi.
Talking to a delegation of lawmakers hailing from Rawalpindi division at Punjab House, Ghulam Sarwar Khan said that adequate measures were being taken to mitigate sufferings of the gas consumers, reads a statement released from the ministry.
On the occasion, SNGPL GM Zahoor Muhammmad assured that gas will be provided to all Rawalpindi areas.
SNGPL officials, Rasheed Shafiq, Ejaz Khan, Javed Chaudhry, Sajid Kausar, Javed Azeem and others were present in the meeting.

People of Karachi on December 21 had complained against gas loadshedding and low pressure in different parts of city.
As per details, as soon as mercury has dropped down, gas load shedding and low pressure has gripped various parts of the city. People living in areas of New Karachi, Korangi, Landhi, Malir, Baldia Town, Liaquatabad, Gulistan-e-Johar, FB Area, Lyari and others are facing problems in the cold weather due to low pressure and loadshedding of the gas.
