ISLAMABAD: A meeting of the organization committee of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz chaired by former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, held here on Monday.
The party’s president Shehbaz Sharif, party stalwarts Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Rana Sanaullah, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq and other leaders attended the meeting.
PML-N secretary general Ahsan Iqbal who heads the central organization committee formed for the party’s re-organisation, briefed the meeting on the drive and presented his recommendations.
Iqbal informed the meeting that the process of party’s organisation across the country was speedily moving forward.
The meeting discussed the matters related countrywide re-organization of the PML-N.
The meeting also considered the issue of formation of standing committees in National Assembly and opposition’s share in it.
The meeting also discussed the matter of production of detained PML-N leader Saad Rafique in the National Assembly session.
The opposition members in Senate session today protested over non-production of detained PML-N leader Saad Rafiq in the parliament.
