ISLAMABAD: Reacting over Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leaders’ speeches, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s Senator Faisal Javed on Thursday said, what PPP has done with the country, even an enemy cannot do.
Hitting back at the PPP leaders, Faisal Javed said PPP and PML-N had signed ‘charter of corruption’ to cover each others’ wrongdoings, PTI government is working to end corruption and money laundering.
“Joint Investigation Team (JIT) has exposed the faces of PPP leaders, they are scared due to their financial irregularities,” he contended.
Faisal Javed said corrupt people will be held accountable, process of the accountability to be accelerated.
On the other hand, Federal Minister Faisal Vawda has said, Asif Zardari actually had criticized Nawaz Sharif by calling ‘Ladla’ (special one), as the cases were framed against him in PML-N tenure of the government.
He said Prime Minister Imran Khan has never talked about 18th constitutional amendment or one unit in the country.
Responding to allegations by the PPP leaders about selection of Imran Khan as PM, Vawda said, if Imran Khan was selected, how come the PPP was able to form government in Sindh.?
Earlier today, Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, while paying homage to his mother and former PPP chairperson Benazir Bhutto on her 11th death anniversary in a special ceremony in Larkana, said he was not aware that obstacles will be put in his way, “I will fight, will stand against injustice,” vowed Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
Lashing out at the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government, the PPP chairman said prime minister is unaware how much weak the centre has become, reins of the government has been given to an inexperienced person.
Former president, Asif Ali Zardari said that he faced the opponent’s tactics earlier too and will not back down from facing them again.
“We are all Bhuttos and ready to fight them on every front including the courts,” said the former president.
