KARACHI: Yet another negligence of the Sindh police was reported on Wednesday, as a model police station, gifted by the Sindh Rangers, looking like a scrap yard.
As per details, the historical Risala police station, handed over to the Sindh Police, after transforming it into a model PS, by the Pakistan Rangers Sindh in 2017, is showing dejected pictures.
The police station established in 1948, after its inauguration by the Director General Rangers Sindh in March, 2017, was gifted to the police, which utterly failed to preserve it.
According to the survey conducted by the ARY News, the police station is showing dilapidated scenes as the LED lights and the Close Circuit Cameras (CCTVs) fixed over there, have become out of order.
This is not all, but the split air conditioners and the water dispenser, which were installed in the police station, are also ‘missing’.
The old motorcycles and the vehicles, kept in the premises of the police station, are showing its picture like an old graveyard.
The concerned authorities should take notice into the matter, in order to preserve the model police station.
