RAWALPINDI: Yao Jing, Ambassador of China to Pakistan called on General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) at General Headquarters on Tuesday.
Military’s media wing Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR) said matters of mutual interest were discussed during the meeting.
Regional security situation also came under discussion.
Yesterday, COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited the National Defence University (NDU) in Islamabad. During his visit, the COAS addressed participants of the 4th Pakistan-UK Stabilization Conference and focused on the internal and external security situation of the country.
The army chief further highlighted prospects of recent geo-political environment and security challenges. He also talked about the economic development in the region due to the China Pakistan Economic Corridor.
