ISLAMABAD: Superintendent Police (SP) of Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Tahir Khan Dawar has reportedly been abducted from Islamabad, ARY News reported.
Brother of the victim has filed a case after two days of his went missing. He said Tahir Khan was posted in Peshawar and two days ago he took leave from his work and left for Islamabad for some personal matters.
The brother said the police officer did not establish contact since then, therefore, they suspected that he was kidnapped. He said Tahir’s spouse right away informed police after she could not contact with him.

Earlier, Inspector General KP Salahuddin Mehsood in a statement said they were in contact with all the relevant institutions including Islamabad Police and were viewing the incident from all angles.
The KP Police has so far not declared the incident a kidnapping. CCPO Qazi Jameel said it would be too early to say something positively on this matter.
The Islamabad police said Tahir Dawar had gone missing from limits of Ramna police station and a team was constituted to find him.
