LAHORE: Punjab Information and Culture Minister Fayyazul Hassan Chohan on Wednesday said that Bollywood, the Indian film industry, tried to discredit Pakistan after the incident of 9/11.
Addressing the 9th National Youth Peace Festival, Fayyazul Hassan Chohan declared India’s arrogant and negative behavior a major hurdle in the way of regional peace.
He said that Pakistan opened Kartarpur corridor as a goodwill jester and the initiative brought happiness for the whole Sikh community in India.
The minister said that Pakistan is a peace loving county and added that whoever talk about peace and Pakistan will be given respect.
He said the time had gone when millions of rupees were spent to hatch conspiracies against the two-nation theory.

Earlier in the day, in a historical event, Prime Minister Imran Khan had laid the foundation stone of Kartarpur Corridor which will link Gurdwara Darbar Sahib in Pakistan with India’s Gurdaspur district.
Hailing his old friend’s efforts, Navjot Singh Sidhu said, Imran Khan had become a key that can open all locks.
Talking to audience at the inaugural ceremony, the Indian cricketer had said “whenever the history of Kartarpur Sahib will be written, name of Imran Khan will top it,” because it is a miracle which could not take place in 73 years, but happened within three months with Khan’s initiative.
