RAWALPINDI: Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar on Sunday underwent angioplasty at the Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology.
The chief justice was taken to the hospital after he complained of chest pain. Subsequently, he was examined by doctors and his medical tests were conducted.
According to doctors, the surgery remained successful and the chief justice is in a stable condition.
According to a recent Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan, the performance of Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar was widely supported by the people of the country.
57 per cent of the respondents rated his performance in the past one year as commendable.
