ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan will be visiting Lahore on Saturday (tomorrow) where Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Usman Buzdar will brief him on the progress report of 100-day agenda on behalf of the provincial government.
According to details, on his visit, PM Khan will lay the foundation of a shelter home outside the Daata Darbar in Lahore.
The Punjab government is setting up five shelter homes in the entire provincial capital.
Later tomorrow, during the one-on-one meeting with PM Imran Khan, the CM Punjab will present the performance report of the Punjab government and its preparation regarding the 100-day agenda.
The Premier is also expected to meet provincial ministers who would apprise Khan on the progressive measures taken by the new government in various sectors.
Further, the bureaucrats from Lahore would also call on Khan.
On October 30, senior Minister Punjab Abdul Aleem Khan said that PM Imran Khan’s agenda is to end the 70-year-old outdated system and through the success of party’s 100-day plan, the priorities are being set for the next five years.
Recently, Prime Minister Imran Khan returned to Pakistan after an official visit to China, in which both the countries inked several cooperation agreements and memorandum of understandings.
Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi declared Mr. Khan’s visit to China as ‘productive’, while senior leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Jahangir Tareen, says it was ‘successful’ visit of PM Imran Khan to Beijing.
