HOUSTON: Iconic singer Fakhr-e-Alam is all set to become the first Pakistani to circumnavigate the globe in a solo venture.
In a video message on Saturday, the 42-year-old singer said he is going to begin the final leg of his globetrotting mission from Houston in an hour. He said he will travel to Florida airport from where he had kicked off his mission.
“Mission Parwaaz [is] dedicated to the people of Pakistan…I have succeeded in my journey because of your prayers and good wishes. I had the privilege of taking national flag all over the world,” said Fakhr-e-Alam.

“Within next seven hours I would officially complete the mission of circumnavigation of the globe.”
A day earlier, he said: “#MissionParwaaz will come to an end tmrw 3rd November 3 30pm at @TBAviation 1000 N Hercules Ave, ClearWater Florida 33765. Come join me to bring home the 1st successful Pakistani circumnavigation home.”
“Tomorrow is the final day, the penultimate day of Mission Parwaaz as I go back to Florida and land at the airport where I started this journey…. I will become the first Pakistani in the history of the world to have circumnavigated the globe successfully.”
On Oct 11, the singer embarked on the journey of circumnavigating the globe in a solo venture. He kicked off his 28-day tour from Clearwater, Florida and travelled to 32 countries.
