ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister, Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Saturday called on his United Arab Emirates (UAE) counterpart, Shaikh Abdullah bin Zayad Alnahiyan in Abu Dhabi, said Foreign Office Spokesperson Dr Faisal in a tweet.
The meeting held on the sidelines of 9th Sir Bani Yas Forum at the UAE’s foreign office, discussed to enhance bilateral cooperation and regional issues of mutual interest between both the countries.

Currently Shah Mahmood Qureshi is in United Arab Emirates (UAE) on a two-day visit where he is representing Pakistan in 9th Sir Bani Yas Forum.
The forum being organized by the UAE ministry of foreign affairs, will have wide participation from foreign ministers of various countries where issues related to Middle East will be discussed.
Earlier on October 26, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi had a meeting with a high-level delegation of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and discussed issues related to boosting trade volume and other matters.
Briefing the media about the meeting, the foreign minister had said that the delegation led by Minister of State and Chief Executive Officer of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company Dr Sultan Aljaber visited Pakistan on the directive of UAE Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed.
He said that he discussed with the UAE delegation various suggestions to boost trade volume between the two countries.
Installation of a state-of-the-art LNG terminal, oil refinery, food processing industry and other issues were also discussed during the meeting.
