ISLAMABAD: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Monday expressed grief on the demise of the third Amir of Tableeghi Jamaat Pakistan Haji Abdul Wahab.
In a tweeter statement, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said: “COAS expresses grief on sad demise of renowned religious scholar and Ameer Tableeghi Jamaat Haji Abdul Wahab. Shares grief of bereaved family and the followers. Acknowledges his contributions and prays for his eternal peace at Heaven. Amen.”

Haji Abdul Wahab, 95, passed away on Sunday morning in Lahore.
He was undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Lahore. He was admitted to the hospital five days ago after his health deteriorated and doctors had declared his condition very critical.
The religious leader was the third chief of Tableeghi Jamaat’s Shura (council) in Pakistan.
