QUETTA: Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed has said that a railway station would be constructed in Gwadar.
Speaking at a press conference in Quetta on Wednesday, he said provincial government had provided land to Pakistan Railways for the railway station. Flanked alongside Sindh Governor Imran Ismail and Minister for Water Resources Faisal Vawda, Rasheed said his target of first 100 days would be achieved before time.
He informed that all trains of Balochistan had been restored.
On the occasion, Imran Ismail said that railways minister was taking steps for the betterment of Pakistan Railways.
He says no ‘references’ work when it comes to taking a favour from Sheikh Rasheed. Sindh governor insisted that all appointments in the railways would be made on merit.
Faisal Vawda said that Balochistan was ignored in the past but PTI government was taking steps for progress and prosperity of Balochistan. He said that water issue between Sindh and Balochistan would be solved soon.
