ISLAMABAD: Condemning the Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir, Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs Ali Ameen Gandapur said that Kashmiris’ struggle for their legitimate right of self-determination cannot be suppressed with military might.
Talking to journalists, Ali Ameen said atrocities of Indian occupied forces increasing day by day in the valley and added that despite all the bloodshed and carnage, India had failed to break the resolve of Kashmiris’ to self-determination.
The minister said that Kashmiris’ peaceful and indigenous struggle getting momentum and support in the valley and added that their voice can never be silenced with military power.
Gandapur said India and the international community will have to give Kashmiris their basic right to self determination.
The minister expressed Pakistan’s resolve to continue moral, political and diplomatic support to the Kashmiris in their struggle for right to self determination.

It is pertinent to mention here that Indian troops had martyred 17 youth and injured as many as 100 in their fresh acts of state terrorism in Shopian and Islamabad districts of occupied Kashmir on April 1, according to a Kashmir Media Service (KMS) report.
The youth were killed during cordon and search operations, launched by Indian forces at Dagdard and Kachdoora areas of the two districts in South Kashmir. The toll is likely to increase once the operation is over.
The killings triggered forceful anti-India protests in the two districts. Over 100 civilians were injured when Indian forces used brute force and fired pellets and bullets on protesters.
