Punjab governor urges India to reciprocate to goodwill gesture of Pakistan

Punjab

ISLAMABAD: Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar on Wednesday urged India to reciprocate to the goodwill gesture of Pakistan to open Kartarpur border crossing.

“Fighting war or having disputes with each other is not the solution to any problem,” he said while talking to a local news channel.

The Punjab governor said the Indian government should also come forward and sit together with Pakistan on negotiation table.

He said leaders of different religions had acknowledged and appreciated the decisions taken by the Pakistani government to facilitate the followers of all faiths.
