KARACHI: Two minor brothers on Sunday perished of food poisoning after consuming unhygienic meal at a restaurant in Karachi, ARY News reported.
Ahmad, one and a half year old, and Muhammad, five years old, both sons of Ahsan and residents of Creek Vista, have died of food poisoning this afternoon while their mother Ayesha is hospitalised in South City Hospital.
They reportedly had dinner at a restaurant at Zamzama area, a while later they also ate sweets at a playland in Defence Housing Society area last night. Mother of the kids is also admitted to a hospital.
“Both the entities have been sealed for forensics. Investigation is underway,” said police.
Police have initiated investigation along with teams of food department.
Inspector General Sindh Police Kaleem Imam has taken notice of the incident and sought details from SSP South in this regard.
