ISLAMABAD: Argentine’s Ambassador to Pakistan Ivan Ivanissevich expressed the desire to ratchet up bilateral relations in trade, tourism, education and science and technology sectors.
According to details, the Argentinian envoy called on Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi in Islamabad on Wednesday where the two dignitaries discussed matters of mutual interest.
The Foreign Minister apprised the visiting official about the investment friendly policies of Pakistan in order to attract foreign investment in the country.
Yesterday, the foreign minister invited French investors to benefit from the business friendly policies of South Asian giant Pakistan during a meeting with French Ambassador Marc Baréty.
FM Qureshi further underscored the need to elevate trade and economic relations between the two countries.
Prime Minister Imran Khan had also said that the incumbent government is committed to create ease and facilitate investors in every possible manner it can.
While, Information Minister Chaudhry Fawad Hussain informed, few days ago, that various major companies of the United States, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and some other countries had expressed keenness to invest billions of dollars in different sectors in Pakistan.
