ISLAMABAD: Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry hailed the performance of the federal cabinet as Prime Minister Imran Khan presided over what could possibly be called the longest-ever cabinet meeting in the country’s history.
As per details, the meeting went on for nearly nine hours to review the progress of 26 ministries during their first 100 days.
The information minister took to Twitter and appreciated the prime minister for his efforts, patience and composure while painstakingly scrutinizing the performance of all ministers.

Fawad further commended the federal ministers saying the achievements of these ministries in merely their 100 days could not be even imagined in past 10 years [by former governments].
Moreover, Railways Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed was among the federal ministers who earned additional praise from Prime Minister Imran Khan for their good performance in the past three months.
The participants of the meeting also lauded the railways minister’s performance by thumping desks.
Mr Khan also expressed satisfaction over the performance of Minister for Finance Asad Umar, Foreign Affairs Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry, Murad Saeed and Faisal Vawda.
He directed the federal ministers to show extraordinary performance to come up to his expectations and steer the country out of the prevailing situation.
“Those who performed well are safe and will not be removed from their ministries,” prime minister maintained while rejecting rumours of reshuffling in the cabinet.
