SRINAGAR: The fresh barbarism of Indian troops in occupied Kashmir martyred 10 Kashmiri youth in Pulwama district on Saturday, Kashmir Media Service reported.
According to details, three youth were shot down during a so-called cordon and search operation by Indian officers in Kharpora Sirnoo area of the district.
Following the martyrdom of innocent youth, Kashmiris took to the streets and staged aggressive protests against the atrocities. In response, Indian troops fired bullets, pellets and teargas shells to disperse the protesters, leaving another seven youth dead and dozens others injured.
The death toll of Kashmiris has reached to 10 in the held valley.
As per the last report received, intense clashes were going on in the area between the demonstrators and Indian forces’ personnel.
Meanwhile, the occupation authorities have suspended rails service in the occupied territory.
A day earlier, Pakistan-born Lord Qurban Hussain stated, if Britain plays the role of a mediator then the Kashmir dispute may be resolved. He highlighted that the future of 1.2 billion people is at stake owing to Kashmir issue and Britain should play its part to bridge the gap between Pakistan and India.
The solution to Kashmir conflict is highly imperative, the Lord stressed while underscoring that Britain can change the lives of people living in Kashmir.
Time and again, the Pakistani government has vehemently said, Kashmir is the cornerstone of Pakistan’s foreign policy, and the Kashmir issue needs to be resolved as per the UN Security Council’s Resolutions and aspirations of the people of occupied Kashmir.
