LAHORE: Federal Minister for Water Resources Faisal Vawda has said that the nation will have to take bitter pill and vowed that the policies which his government had initiated would soon bear fruit.
Talking to journalists, Faisal Vawda said that people will have to face difficult time for few months and added that soon the situation will turn better and the country will progress due to the PTI-government’s policies.
He said the government had achieved great success in its initial 100 days and added that they were trying to resolve the major issues which had been neglected for years.
The minister said that Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has shrunk to only one province and added that they will make the party of one street in next elections.
Hitting out at PPP and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Faisal Vawda underscored the need of more prisons in the country.
It is pertinent to mention here that presenting the initial 100-day progress report of his government before the nation, Prime Minister Imran Khan, on November 30, had said that all his policies were meant to transform Pakistan into a real welfare state to uplift the poor and downtrodden.
He admitted that people were presently facing a difficult time and vowed that the policies which his government had initiated would soon bear fruit and the people will get relief.
