ISLAMABAD: The state executives and the president of Pakistan wished all Christian community celebrating the festive occasion of Christmas on December 25.

President Dr Arif Alvi also extended his greetings to the Christian community all across the world and particularly those living in Pakistan. He further appreciated the efforts and dedication of Pakistani Christians for the socioeconomic development of the country.
“I also take this opportunity to pay rich tribute to the sacrifices made by our Christian brethren in Pakistan’s fight against terrorism,” the message from the president read on the joyous occasion of Christmas.
Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi also wished Merry Christmas to Christian brethren in a tweet on the eve of Christmas.
