LAHORE: Punjab Information and Culture Minister Fayyazul Hassan Chohan on Tuesday slammed Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Hamza Shehbaz over fleeing attempt and said that Sharif brothers do not have courage to face justice.
Talking to journalists, Fayyazul Hassan Chohan said that Sharif brothers were involved in mega graft cases and alleged that they embezzled billion of rupees from the national exchequer and now they are trying to escape from the accountability.
He said that country’s top accountability watchdog investigating the irregularities done in the last 10 years in the country and things are surfacing gradually.
The minister said that former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif pleading for another National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) and added that he the PTI government does not believe in NROs and he will have to go through fair accountability process.

Earlier in the day, officials from the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) offloaded leader of the opposition in the Punjab Assembly Hamza Shehbaz from a foreign airline’s flight at Lahore airport.
Hamza was traveling to Doha when he was made to disembark from the flight at the Allama Iqbal International airport.
Sources confirmed that the PML-N leader was offloaded from the flight because of a NAB case pending against him.
