ISLAMABAD: The Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry, on the eve of ‘Sindhi Culture Day’ termed Sindhi cap and ‘Ajrak’ the colourful symbols of diverse culture of the province.
Felicitating the people of Sindh, Fawad Chaudhry said in his message, “Selfless love and affection of the people of Sindh is the greatest heritage of the province.”

He said Sindh is the land of ancient cultural heritage and added that Sindhi is not only spoken in Pakistan but it is also a lingua of people around the world.

Earlier in the day, Sindhi Cultural Day was celebrated across the province and various rallies were organized by different social and cultural groups in the province to mark the occasion.
Sindhi Cultural Day was celebrated to keep the rich culture of the province alive.
A number of events encompassing folk songs, Sindhi traditional dance and poetic symposiums held throughout the day whereas traditional cultural items were exhibited at stalls.
