According to details, the federal minister was responding to a tweet of PML-N spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb, wherein she had alleged Prime Minister Imran Khan’s sister Aleema Khan of being the ‘benamidar’ (ostensible owner) of the premier.
She further pointed out fingers at the fundraising for Shaukat Khanum Hospital and Namal University’s board, and accused Aleema Khan of purchasing expensive properties through these two sources [Shaukat Khanum Hospital and Namal University].
To which, the Information Minister clarified that Aleema Khan has never been the Prime Minister or public office holder and she herself declared all her properties.

Criticizing Aurengzeb’s remarks, Chaudhry wrote “when you have not done any small welfare work your life, then do not make institutions like Shaukat Khanum Hospital and Namal University controversial to give a new life to your late politics.”
He further lamented on the PML-N’s firebrand tweet, saying “your politics has now been reduced to just concocting baseless stories.”
