LAHORE: Pakistan’s renowned film and television actor Moammar Rana has joined the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) on Sunday, ARY News reported.
Following his meeting with PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari at Lahore’s Bilawal House, Moammar Rana announced to join the party.
The journey of Rana in Lollywood spans over 23 years so far. The veteran actor has worked in numerous Pakistani movies, TV serials and two Bollywood films as well.
In June last year, Moammar Rana appeared in ARY Films and Pervez Malik Films collaboration “Azaadi”.
The film revolved around a Kashmiri family and its struggle for self-determination and independence in Indian-occupied valley, wherein Moammar Rana played a role of an educated Kashmiri who chooses fighting for Kashmir’s freedom over love, career and family.
