LAHORE: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has revealed that senior Punjab Minister, Aleem Khan was taken into custody after establishing his involvement in corrupt practices, ARY News reported on Wednesday.
According to well informed sources, Aleem Khan is accused of making assets beyond known source of income in Pakistan and abroad and was also found involved in corrupt practices as Park View housing society secretary.
The bureau has acquired enough evidence against Aleem Khan, the sources said.
The sources further said that the accused setup Hexam Investment Overseas Ltd and different other offshore companies for heavy investments into real estate business.
Aleem Khan bought as many as 1500 kanal of land under his company’s name MSA&A and failed to prove his income sources.

The answers of the senior minister failed to satisfy the NAB officials during the inquiry of cases, subsequently leading to his arrest.
Following his arrest, Khan had tendered his resignation from the post of Punjab’s senior minister wherein he was supervising nearly five ministries of the province.
