DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Five police personnel were martyred in a firing incident over a police van at Indus highway, in the limits of Tehsil proa, DI Khan, ARY News reported on Tuesday.
As per details, unknown assailants opened over the police van at the Indus Highway, resulting in martyrdom of three personnel on the spot, while two got injured.
The Injured were shifted to the District Headquarter hospital Dera Ismail Khan, where the injured policemen succumbed to their bullet wounds.
The martyred policemen were identified as, SHO Tahir Nawaz, DFC Mir Baz, driver, Javed and two constables namely Asif and Sarfaraz.
