RAWALPINDI: Paying tributes to the Kashmiri brothers and sisters over their continued struggle for right to self-determination, Director General Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor said on Tuesday that even Indian Occupation Forces have failed to suppress their struggle for freedom, ARY News reported.
In his tweet, the DG ISPR said, “Kashmir remains a long pending unresolved issue on UN agenda since 1948. Decades of atrocities by Indian Occupation Forces have failed to suppress ever strengthening legitimate freedom struggle.”

“Determined Kashmiris shall succeed IA,” he continued in his message on the eve of Kashmir Solidarity Day, being observed today.
In separate messages on Kashmir Solidarity Day, President Dr Arif Alvi and Prime Minister Imran Khan have reassured people of Kashmir that Pakistan will remain consistent in its principled position on the Kashmir issue.

Kashmir Solidarity Day is being observed today to reiterate whole-hearted support of the Pakistani nation to just struggle of Kashmiri people for their inalienable right to self-determination under UN resolutions.
A one minute silence was observed throughout the country to pay homage to the martyrs of the liberation struggle.
