ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari on Wednesday said India will be given a befitting response from Pakistan, in case of any misadventure, ARY News reported.
“We all stand firm and united with our armed forces in any aggression from the Indian side,” Zardari said while addressing a press conference in Islamabad.
He strongly condemned the baseless Indian allegations over Islamabad over its alleged involvement in the Pulwama attack.
Reacting on Agha Siraj Durrani’s arrest, the PPP leader said that the federal government has challenged democracy itself by arresting Sindh Assembly speaker.
“We have gone through such situations in the past and even ready to face them now,” he continued.
Replying to a query, he welcomed the Saudi crown prince’s recent visit to Pakistan and complained about not inviting the leaders from the opposition benches.

The PPP leader claimed that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) led federal government has failed in addressing the masses problems.
He congratulated Opposition Leader in National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif over getting bail in the reference.
Responding to another query about Agha Siraj’s arrest from Rawalpindi, Zardari said, he [Durrani] was not an absconder; the NAB can arrest him from Karachi.
“We are ready to face any situation, jail is my second house,” he contented.
