ISLAMABAD: The met office has predicted rain and snowfall spell in Balochistan as a new weather system will enter in the province on Monday (tomorrow), ARY News reported.
The new weather system will bring three days’ rainy spell in Quetta, Zhob, Pishin, Ziarat and Kalat, while snowfall at hills from Monday to Wednesday.
According to Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) cold spell will continue across Pakistan, as continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country.
The weather department has issued an alert about heavy rainfall and flooding in Nallahs in the province.
Mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country tomorrow, PMD report said.
Tourists thronged at Swat after mountains of Kalam and Malamjabba covered with snow.
The minimum temperature in Karachi recorded at 12 degree Celsius today, while the maximum temperature will reach to 26 degrees, the met office said. Mostly cold and dry weather will remain in the day.
The lowest minimum temperatures recorded in country with Astore -12°C, Kalam, Skardu -11°C, Bagrote -08°C, Gupis -06°C, Rawalakot, Malamjabba, Hunza, Dir -04°C, Mirkhani, Kakul, Drosh, Murree -03°C, Chitral -02°C.
