LAHORE: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has summoned a parliamentary party’s meeting in Lahore, ARY News reported on Sunday.
The meeting is scheduled to take place at 4:00 pm today.
Detailing the agenda of the meeting, Secretary Information PPP Punjab Syed Hassan Murtaza said the huddle will discuss the performance of the parliamentary party.
“Chairman will issue guidelines to the party leaders in the wake of present political situation”, Murtaza added.
PPP co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari will also attend the meeting.
Yesterday, the PPP chairman’s formal application to meet Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) supremo, to inquire about his health, was accepted by the Punjab’s health department.
The meeting will take place tomorrow (Monday) at the Kotlakh Pat jail.

Spokesperson to Punjab Chief Minister, Shahbaz Gill, said in his statement that Bilawal would be allowed to meet Sharif in accordance with jail regulations.
The spokesperson clarified that the Punjab government has no objections over the meeting and it issued directives to jail administration in this regards.
Sources said that the PPP chairman wanted to meet the imprisoned PML-N supremo today but it was postponed following Bilawal’s busy schedule.
