ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister’s Special Aide on Political Affairs Naeemul Haq on Tuesday said Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s meeting with former prime minister Nawaz Sharif had a political agenda.
Haq was talking to journalists in Islamabad, here today.
He maintained that the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) have extended cooperation with each other in present scenario.
Calling illness of Nawaz Sharif, a separate matter, the PM’s special aide said the motive behind the meeting was a political one.
He heavily criticized both the parties for plunging country in to immense burden of debt and destroying its economy.
On Monday, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari had met former prime minister Nawaz Sharif in Kot Lakhpat jail.

The PPP top leader inquired after the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif.
Bilawal was accompanied by PPP’s Qamar Zaman Kaira, Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar, Jameel and Hassan Murtaza in the meeting between the top leaders of the major opposition parties.
The meeting was termed as crucial for the political scenario in future.
The top leadership of the PML-N and PPP, once called political arch-rivals, was facing graft probes and proceedings in different cases.
