PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhuwa (KP) Chief Minister Mehmood Khan has directed to chalk out a comprehensive plan for Peshawar’s beautification, ARY News reported on Tuesday.
Presiding over a meeting in Peshawar to review the problems being faced by the citizens of the city, he directed the authorities concerned for immediate steps for solution of traffic related issues of Peshawar.
CM Mehmood Khan also urged for an effective cleanness drive and make hospitals and educational institutes of Peshawar fully functional.
He urged the participants of the meeting to fully enforce the comprehensive plan to add to beauty of the city, “I will personally monitor the performance on monthly basis”, he continued.

Earlier on March 10, CM KP Mehmood Khan had inaugurated a 32-kilometre gas pipeline, in Peshawar’s Achani Bala area.
Addressing the inaugural ceremony of the scheme, the chief minister had said that it was one of the mega projects for Peshawar which would solve the problem of low gas pressure.
Member National Assembly Arbab Sher Ali, Minister Finance Taimur Saleem Jhagra, MPAs Asif Khan, Pir Fida Muhammad, Faheem Ahmed, District Nazim Muhammad Asim Khan, SNGPL General Manager Arbab Saqib and others also attended the event.
