ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Fawad Chaudhry, on Thursday said that judiciary’s support has prime important for bringing reformations in the country, ARY News reported.
Fawad Chaudhry, while addressing an event of Islamabad Bar Association here, said that reformations were impossible without the support of judiciary and legal reforms have always become fruitful for the national economy.
He said that the government has decided to bring reformation in the judicial system of the country. The information minister added that the federal authorities will attempt to take bar association side-by-side in the process of legal reforms.
The information minister urged that the issue relating to judges’ appointment in high court should be cleared.
Chaudhry said, “Pakistan cannot move forward if common man doesn’t believe in courts. Jail is a five-star hotel for an elite, whereas a residence is also like jail for a poor person.”

The federal minister acknowledged that lawyers have also contributed with blood alongside the nation in the war against terrorism and their sacrifices will not be forgotten.
He urged the need for betterment in buildings and bar associations. Chaudhry said that the Capital Development Authority (CDA) chairman will be handed over master plan for construction of lawyers’ chamber.
He announced that the government was working on a new master plan for the federal capital. He said that bar association building should also be shifted to the new high court building.
While commenting over the current political scenario, Chaudhry said that no suspicions could be made over efforts of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
He said that the government will resolve all of its issues under the leadership of PM Imran Khan who brought the revolution of middle-class people of the country.
The information minister clarified that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf led government will not make any compromise on accountability. He said that the present government did not file a single case against previous rulers.
Chaudhry added that the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) rulers had filed different cases against Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leadership and the same pattern had been followed during Nawaz Sharif’s tenure.
