Sher Zaman advises PPP to refrain from attacking state institutions

KARACHI: President Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Karachi Division Khurram Sher Zaman has advised Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leadership to refrain from attacking state intuitions, ARY News reported on Wednesday.

In his statement issued here from Karachi, he denounced PPP leaders act outside the NAB Headquarters during appearance of party leaders Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Asif Zardari today.

Taking on former the president, Zaman said, Asif Zardari is using his son as shield to protect himself from the corruption charges leveled against him.

No leniency for those, who are taking law into their hands, he contented.

“Institutions are working freely, no one can escape accountability process”, he continued.

The PTI Karachi division president said, If PPP Chairman Bilawal was innocent, why he is afraid of facing the court.

Earlier, at least five police personnel sustained wounds when PPP workers hurled stones at them in a bid to enter the NAB premises before the arrival of the PPP chairman and co-chairman, according to police sources. Subsequently, the police personnel retaliated by baton-charging and arresting some rowdy workers.
