ISLAMABAD: Turkmen Foreign Minister (FM) Rashid Meredov has arrived in Islamabad to hold talks with Pakistani leadership on bilateral and regional affairs.
The visiting official was received by high ranking officials of the Foreign Ministry upon his arrival today.
According to Foreign Office Spokesman Dr Muhammad Faisal, the Turkmen Foreign Minister is accompanied by a high-level delegation, comprising Minister for Energy and other high-level officials.

On the other hand, German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas has also arrived in the federal capital today.
During his stay, the German FM will hold important meetings with political leadership including Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi.
Earlier, Mr Maas reached Afghanistan on an unannounced visit to send a message confirming Germany’s commitment to conflict resolution and economic development in Afghanistan.
