ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry has said Rs 1500 billion were transferred to Balochistan during last ten years from the federal kitty, ARY NEWS reported on Saturday.
Quoting the Minister of State for Revenue Hammad Azhar in his tweet today, the minister said 1500 billion rupees were given to Balochistan during last ten years from the federal government’s exchequer.

He said the amount transferred to the province does not include provincial taxes collected during the period by the Balochistan government.
Mr Fawad without taking anyone’s name said, the democracy and the sanctity of the parliament come under threat, whenever you ask “where the amount was spend from those remained in power during that tenure.”.
Fawad Chaudhry on Thursday (November 15) had expressed disappointment over the treatment meted out to him in the Senate.
He was briefing the media after a meeting of the federal cabinet. “We should actually apologise in the Senate for why we asked where the poor people’s money was spent…where funds to the tune of 4.2 trillion given to Balochistan government were spent…….Who is responsible for economic terrorism,” asked Fawad.
