ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan will leave for Peshawar on a day-long in January, ARY News reported.
According to details, the premier will review the performance of the provincial government and take briefing on the development projects.
The prime minister is also scheduled to inaugurate a shelter home, comprising 430 beds, during the visit.
Further, the provincial cabinet meeting of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will also be attended by the prime minister where he will scrutinize the progress of ministers on an individual level. While the cabinet members will present their new targets and future course of action to PM Khan.
Under the directions of the premier, KP government is setting up shelter homes near bus stands, Charsadda, Kohat and other areas to facilitate the poor.
A government official said that a high-standard shelter home is ready to be inaugurated at Pachgi Road in Peshawar.The shelter home will facilitate around 150 to 200 people.
It is pertinent to mention here that PM Imran Khan, on November 10, had laid the foundation of the shelter home project in Punjab province’s Lahore city.
The project was aimed at housing a number of homeless people who usually spend nights on footpaths or other places in different areas of Lahore city.
