FAISALABAD: Locals of Faisalabad on Sunday caught and subjected a man to torture who assayed to kidnap a minor girl from Gharibabad area, ARY News reported.
After beating the suspect, the residents of the area handed him over to police. They said the suspect was trying to abduct the five-year-old girl.
ARY News correspondent Muhammed Kashif said this was second abductor who was caught in a month by the citizens.
“When he tried to flee with the girl, he was intercepted by the residents and subjected to torture. They also shaved his head,” he said.
Police said investigation from the alleged culprit was underway.
